Every Doubleknot receipt now displays a scannable barcode for the order number. With this new feature, you can scan the barcode to pull up an order in Sales Station POS and Sales Station Mobile POS. When the order is displayed in Sales Station, you can:
- Accept payment for any balance due. Your staff can accept outstanding payments for special events, tours, classes and camp registrations when the customer arrives. Just tap the button to add the order to the cart, and the outstanding balance due is displayed on the register.
- Add to the registration or reservation. After you pull up the order in Sales Station, you can add new items. So, if a family wants to add another camp session or sign up for after-care, you can add it to their existing registration and accept payment on the spot.
- Cancel the registration or reservation. Sales Station’s refund features lets you cancel and refund payments, registrations and reservations easily, without slowing down the line.
Scanning receipt barcodes requires a supported Socket Mobile 2D Bluetooth scanner. Click here for a list of supported equipment.
NOTE: By the way, if you’re not using a scanner with Sales Station, you can still look up orders, change orders and accept payment—just enter the order number with the keypad.
